Advent Church Facilities

Looking for a venue for your next event? Our beautiful campus is available to our own families and those outside the parish family for special events in their lives. If you are planning a wedding, memorial service, musical performance, social event, workshop, or retreat, we look forward to hosting your group.
Advent Church The church building was constructed in 1966, and is surrounded by beautiful stained glass windows reminiscent of the Apostles. The church is available for weddings, funerals, or musical events, such as recitals or choir performances. Congregational seating capacity is 300. The church contains an organ, piano, and state-of-the-art sound system. A vesting (dressing) room for small bridal/groom parties is in the back of the church, as well as a cry room with rocking chair, changing station, and toys. |

St. Clement’s Chapel
St. Clement’s Chapel was the original place of worship on the campus. It was brought to Tallahassee from Lloyd, Florida in 1959. This historic 1895 Gothic-style church building is available for small weddings and funerals. It contains a vintage pipe organ. Seating capacity is 56. |

Parish Hall Advent’s parish hall is available for Church of the Advent church-wide events, weddings, funerals, and outreach events, with approval of the Vestry. The seated event capacity is 150, and reception event capacity is 200. The parish hall has a fully stocked kitchen with ice machine, as well as a separate coffee station. There is a stage, piano, fireplace, and a bridal room adjacent to the women’s restroom. The room is carpeted and well-lit. Nestled between the church, chapel, parish hall, and large front lawn is a brick-paved courtyard for outdoor reception or seating. A fishpond is tucked into one corner, and the courtyard is surrounded by well-maintained landscaping. |

Parking
Advent has two parking lots. A larger lot is adjacent to the church. There is a smaller lot between the parish hall/St. Clement’s Chapel and Roselawn Cemetery. There are eight handicapped accessible parking spaces.
