The Prayer Guide provides parish members with a daily prayer session focused on the members and Advent needs. The most visible prayer ministry is the compilation and distribution of a monthly guide containing daily devotional readings. The daily lectionary readings are noted as well, along with an inspirational commentary on one of the readings. Prayers for various ministries and people of the local and world community are included. In addition, all parishioners names are listed and prayed for at least one day each month. Prayer Requests
Prayer Request cards can be found in the church pews, and may be placed in the Offering Plate or given to any Usher or Greeter. Prayer requests can also be called in to the Office. We want to ensure that our Prayer List, listed in the Sunday Bulletin and Adventures Newsletter, is always current. Nancy Fischer, one of our many Office volunteers, maintains the list.
