We believe that Jesus Christ came to reveal the fullness of God's love for us, and we continue to celebrate that love through praise, sacraments, service, and community.
Our church offers a wide range of ministry opportunities. Whether you'd like to learn more, pray more, or serve more, we have a ministry for you.
We gather on Sundays at 8:30 am for Holy Eucharist Rite II in St. Clement's Chapel and at

The Book Study
The book study will meet Friday mornings at 10:30 AM in the Vestry Room. We will be reading and discussing Reading the Bible Again for the First Time by Marcus Borg. It's NOT too late to join our new adventure. We will be placing a bulk order for the books. If you are interested please notify either Fr. Rick or the church office.
Our next Forum is scheduled for November 14, 2018. Wednesday night is FORUM DINNER night! 6pm in the Parish Hall. The entree is chili, so please bring sides to go with chili - salad, cornbread, desserts... maybe some shredded cheese and sour cream? And after we've fed the fire in our bellies, we'll talk about the results of the Holy Cow survey and what it revealed about us as a congregation and what we say we want in a rector!

The Interim Rector
The Reverend Dr. Richard W. Effinger joined us on September 17, 2017 as our new Interim Rector. Reverend Effinger had been serving as the Associate Rector for Pastoral Care and Parish Life at St. John’s Episcopal Church.
Before the priesthood, Fr. Rick was an emergency room physician in South Florida for almost 20 years. Following graduation from General Theological Seminary in New York City, Fr. Rick served at Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, and at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Key West, before coming to Tallahassee.
Some of our members will be familiar with Fr. Rick, as he shares serving at the weekly Healing Service at St. John’s. He also facilitates a weekly Bible study. Fr. Rick is excited about joining us at Advent, and helping shepherd us through this period of transition.
Father Effinger's email address is: email@example.com
