The Altar Guild serves a critical function to the church, by preparing and maintaining the altar and all Eucharistic vessels, candles, and garments. The Altar Guild also prepares the altar, chancel, and worship space for all worship services, including weddings, memorials, ordinations, baptisms, confirmations, and funerals. Additional responsibilities include placement of altar flowers and candles.
Members of the Altar Guild serve on teams. Unlike other ministries, these teams are responsible for the entire week's services (Saturday-Friday).
